Ok so I just heard this a few moments ago:
All charges against Sultan Abul-Aynain were dropped, and all the previous convictions… Um just a mistake.
Wow I feel so insulted! The Lebanese court had sentenced him to death (more than once). In the past, we felt it was insulting enough that this guy would be the Fatah representative. It was insulting to see him get on TV and talk about his and his people’s demands, how we (the Lebanese) owe them this and that. What an insult it was that he would defy the Lebanese authority.
And now he was declared “innocent” for political reasons.
